History and Analysis
This two and a half story, raised basement townhouse is the only one of its type on this block. It features high architectural integrity such as an original stoop, masonry and limestone cladding, projecting two-story bay windows, terra-cotta lintels, and a swag-detailed, pressed metal cornice. The only observational alteration is the raised rafters on what was originally a mansard roof, as consistent with French Second Empire. This building’s age was determined by referencing historic maps of Brooklyn.
