History and Analysis
The Real Estate Record and Guide in 1886 describes these buildings as “Nine, Three-story frame (brick-filled) tenements, 20×48, tin roofs, cost $4,000 each.”[1] These two buildings are the only of the original nine that remain extant and are currently clad in vinyl siding.
