History and Analysis
1125 Putnam Avenue is a four-story non-fireproof apartment building built in 1888. The apartment accomodes one family on each floor, four families in total. Although most of the records of the original building has been lost, the structure retains a high level of architectural integrity with much of the original characteristics intact, including the brownstone facade, lintels, and metal pressed cornice.
