History and Analysis
This white-painted, four story commercial building is composed of masonry, rough-cut ashlar (most likely sandstone), and terra-cotta. This building features Doric and Ionic pilasters with capitals at the third story, from which spring rounded, Romanesque arches accentuated by egg-and-dart terra-cotta detailing. This building also possesses an original pressed-metal cornice.
