History and Analysis
1063-65 Jefferson Avenue is a two three story rowhouses built for $2,800 each in 1887, three years prior to Stephen J. Burrows’ development of 1035-1057 Jefferson Avenue that occupy the rest of this row. The original owner, Henry Meyer resided at 33 Woodbine Street. Both structures have been highly altered; they have been stuccoed over, and neither of them retains its original brick facade. 1065 Jefferson Avenue seems to retain the original metal roof.
