History and Analysis


1014-1018 Hancock Street are twoe three bay, two-and-a-half-story rowhouses with stoops on the left side of the front facade, located between Bushwick Avenue and Broadway. Both are covered in vinyl siding with most historic ornament removed from the front facade, save the cornice at 1014. The wood framed rowhouse with tin roofs were built by A. A. Fardon and S. H. Post and commissioned by Elizabeth B. Stortv of 913 Hancock Street in 1884 for $3,800 each.
